4 Day weekend recap

We had a pretty busy 4 day weekend. The girls didn't have school Friday or Monday.
Friday:
I spent most of the day getting ready to leave and cleaning the house. At 3pm we got the kids and all their stuff loaded in the car and took them over to my moms house for a sleepover. Justin and I meet up with a big group of friends in Salem for to see Mathew West, Jeremy Camp, and Tobymac in concert. It was a lot of fun! We had gerneral admissions seating and ended up sitting in the very back row directly facing the stage (about as far away as you can be from the stage). We sat there for Mathew West and some of Jeremy Camp but then a friend smuggled us up the the very front were we got some seats about 6 rows back and it was amazing! TobyMac rocked the place! He is way better in concert than recorded in my opinion. I didn't stop dancing all night! The cool thing is that he jumped down into the crowd and came a row in front of us stading on the chairs and I almost touched him! It was pretty sweet! We had a lot of fun.
Saturday:
I got up at 7am and went to pick the girls up. Then with the kids, the dog, and my mom and a car full of stuff, we drove up to their lake property and spent the entire day there. We made a fire, went on a two hour exploritory hike that the kids loved. We took the wagon and pulled the baby in the places we could but had to carry her most of the way, it was a lot of up hill so we were tired when we got done. Then we got ready for dinner ate and went home. It was a fun day despite Addy being sick with a cold. Her poor nose was bright red from wiping it all day. They slept good that night!
Sunday:
The kids and I all didn't feel very good so we stayed home from church and just hung out all day while daddy went to church and then work. It was a nice day so I got the girls outside for at least 30 mintues to play at the park. Justin got home at about 6, we ate a yummy pot roast dinner, played a game of sorry, then went to bed not long after.
Monday:
I felt much better this morning thank goodness because I spent the entire day shreddin it up at Mt. Hood Meadows! I left at about 6:30 am, picked up Nikki, her mom Janine, her roommate Mandy and her friend Matt and headed up to the mountain. It was Nikki's birthday and it was the most beautiful day we have had all year! It was sunny and warm and not a bit windy! It was the perfect day for skiing. We got in about 18 runs and totally wore ourselves out but had a blast doing it! Justin stayed home with the girls, took them to the park to ride bikes and just hung out with them all day. They had fun. When I got home we went to Outback for dinner and then I feel asleep watching Extreme Home Makeover on the couch!
Overall it was a great weekend together!

The other day the girls and I were painting and Addy was getting very impaitent with us so I decided to get her into the action too. She loved it!

My Little Foodies!

I was in the office one morning after the girls had gotten out of school and when I walked into the kitchen I found them both with oranges trying to have some orange juice. Katrina's idea (thanks tropicana commercials!)
It didn't really work but it was worth a good laugh at their effort!
