One Pricey Popsicle

So this morning around 11am I had to take Addy to the ER. Sometime around 10am while all the girls were playing in their bedroom Katrina came running in my room and said that Addy had eaten one of their toys. It was actually one of those capsules that look like a pill, you put it in water, and it expandes into a spounge shapped like an insect. I was instantly worried and started searching their bedroom for the capsules. I found 3, and knew one was missing. When I asked Addy if she ate one she simply shook her head 'uh huh' with a smile.
I wasn't really sure what to do but I figured an expanding spounge in a babies body can't be a good thing. I called the nurse and she said bring her to the ER. So that's what I did after I dropped the big girls off with Amber. While waiting to go Emma said "this is the worst day of my whole life!".
We didn't have to wait long at the ER, we were only there for about 2 hours total, and in the end we found out that they are biodegradable and that she would be fine. After all that she got to sit and eat an orange popsicle and then we came home. It was the longest I have ever waited for and the most I have ever paid for a popsicle! Thank God for being gracious and that all is okay!

Uncle Jon the Great

I made this poster for our Uncle Jon who lives in California. Somehow he convinced the girls to call him 'Uncle Jon the Great' and it has stuck! They came in May and stayed with us for a weekend while their son graduated from MBC. The kids love Uncle Jon and Aunt Nancy and we had a great time with them while they were here. These are some of my fav. pics. from that visit.
